NEW Neneh Cherry - Everything (Music Video) Neneh Cherry Dances and Dances in "Everything" VideoBy Jeremy Gordon on April 23, 2014 at 02:19 p.m.Neneh Cherry has shared the video for "Everything", from this year's Blank Project, her album produced by Four Tet and recorded with RocketNumberNine. It's directed by legendary French photographer/director Jean-Baptiste Mondino, marking their fifth collaboration together, and shows a single take of Cherry dancing up a storm. Watch it below,via i-D.
"Everything" will be paired a remixes by Villalobos and Loderbaur and released as a digital single on June 17. The remixes will also be available as a 12".
Additionally, it was recently announced that Cherry will perform at this summer's Pitchfork Music Festival. According to a press release, this is Cherry's second performance in the United States ever.

V This has to be one of the best examples of doing a wonderfully creative video using a low budget which most artists have to had to grow accustomed to over the years.I love the fact that it sustains my interest from beginning to end. The clip truly becomes a celebration once you see her facial expressions and performance up close towards the end. Just brilliant.The minimal concept works perfectly since her album The Blank Project also follows the same route.I believe Jean Baptiste Mondino directed Madonna's "Justify My Love" back in the day. Glad to see him still in the game. Neneh should stick with him since their videos together ("Manchild", "I've Got U Under My Skin", "Buddy X", "Kootchi") have all been stellar. | |
