I like it. I her as an artist. She has style. This is another Marvin Gaye inspired track for Pharrell.

The killer track from her new album has yet to be released as a single. Here she is singing a live breakdown. Killer song.

Paloma was at 3rd Eye Girls gig in Camden, London a few weeks back. She looked like she loved it.

I prefer the live in the Kitchen version of Can't Rely On You. This version is on the duluxe version of the album.

I don't get the video.

How was the car driving by itself?

Where did the horse come from?

What was with the milk bath & the mask?

Why was the priest(?) screaming?

Why was she screaming?

Is that her natural hair color?

She didn't need Pharrell. She's had plenty of hits without him. She was clearly looking at the American market.

She's always been funky, but in a northern soul kinf of way.

yeah that's fine if it comes from her soul, but this just sounds forced to me.

Love this woman, her previous albums are amazing.

this James Brown lick been sampled million times in the 80s and 90s in rnb and hiphop tracks.

although the Pharrel sounds like it, its not exactly the same. but yeah he probably borrowed it or got inspired.

I like the song, and feel a bit heartened that 'the kids' are choosing this type of music and not just godawful Nicki Minaj tracks. I prefer the looser feel of the live versions I've heard - though I can't help think her vocal and mannerisms when performing the song are just this side of an amateur dramatic society's production of Sister Act, and I have to hold my breath each time she goes for that high note in the chorus. (Plus, there's always a nagging thought runs through my head that probably any of the backing singers could probably pull off a more convincing vocal with less effort, were it not for the fact that there's still a whiff of Sam Phillips's business strategy lingering around the music industry even today.)

That said, I haven't heard much else by her, so I'm interested to hear what else she's brought to the table, perhaps in terms of songwriting, etc. I've seen her interviewed and she seems a canny lass.
