After wowing the crowd at this year’s Coachella, Solange is hard at work on recording her first album for her newly launched label, Saint Records.

The singer participated in a Twitter Q&A, in which she revealed where the recording process currently stands.

When asked to spill details about her third full-length project, Solo replied, "It's the album I may have been afraid to make, but had no choice but to make."

So what made her want to launch her own label? "Wanting to shape and mold the label I've always wanted to be on myself:)" she says.

She also confirmed the set will arrive later this year. "Early fall, have written 25 joints...recording and narrowing, very happy!" she tweeted.

The upcoming set will be her first studio project since 2008's Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams and last year's True EP.

Any idea who's working with her on it? I really like the EP with Dev Hynes, and I hope she keeps going in that direction.

She has not mentioned with whom she's working on this project yet. I hope she's once again enlisted Dev to helm production duties.

About time dammit....I like her.
