Meaning Of Bizarre Love Triangle

My personal views on this particular song. Is that it was about a man in love a man... but used to be in love with a woman. And that he maybe still has feelings for the woman, but has strong feelings for the man. And his confusion grows and grows and grows. Others see it as just a straight love song... other see a completely different meaning.

I always saw Blue Monday has a song about the effects of war. Others see that as just a harsh love song too.

What are y'alls opinions?

I always took it as one of them was closeted or in denial. Overall though early NO lyrics are mostly vague.
