Yeah, "Treasure" is clearly based on that song. I like "Treasure" too, but the rawness of this track is really appealing to me. I love it how even the hi-hat sounds like a real hi-hat played in a room next to you. When was the last time you heard that on a record?

Even if the bassline and the chords are different, Treasure and Baby I'm Yours sound similar chorus wise..

Yeah, tell me about it, this Breakbot guy is very good at bass lines and electro funk things, never dared to check his stuff and when I did I just knew how much brilliant his music is.

even though this jam is from 2008 i heard it for the first time in 2013 and it was my favorite song of the 2013.

very catchy electro funk groove and the video and song reminds me on Prince circa Controversy era.

Yeah, I listened to the album and I think its unique and offers a contemporary twist on the funk & disco adding more electro elements... Good songs and good arrangements, which leads me to wonder if Daft Punk consider the album By Your Side or Breakbot's body of work as an influence?

he's bringing the funk back and nobody in the states is intrested.
