Can we dream? Bob Dylan's Rolling Thunder Tour. But that was only in the North East of the US in 1975 and I was only 4 years old at that time living in Holland so...no way. But it musta been pretty awesome.

I think my ultimate "time machine" shows would probably be: Capt Beefheart in 1972, the Who in 1965, James Brown in 1972, Can in 1972, Albert Ayler in 1966, Sly & Family Stone in 1969, 13th Floor Elevators in 1966, and John Coltrane in 1963.

Definitely the Chi-Lites, would also wanna check out Rufus, Mother's Finest... Another band I would probably be curious to see/hear is Nazareth, hardrock band that was being produced by Roger Glover and are probably most famous for their rendition of 'Love Hurts', which isn't representative of the rest of that album.

In 74? Stevie Wonder, herbie & his headhunters, funkadelic, sly stone, fania all stars, etc.
