Kate has lost nothing to my ears. Quite the opposite really. I love how she continues to push her art into new and unexpected places.

I actually consider Aerial and 50 Words For Snow to be two of her greatest achievements.

They're up there with The Dreaming and Hounds Of Love for me.

Okay, they may not be very immediate in a "pop" sense, but they're both ridiculously beautiful.

[/quote TOTALLY AGREE. 50 Words is a breathtaking, epic masterpiece.

Yup YUP! MASTERPIECES!!! I'm more fond of those two (Aerial and 50 Words) than her earlier output actually, but I love ANYTHING she does. smile
Hungry? Just look in the mirror and get fed up.

Yes Kate Bush lost it after The Sensual World. nod

There's some amazing songs on The Red Shoes:

the title track,
And So Is Love,
You're The One

after that I can't feel her music. Her 3 latest Aerial, Directors Cut and 50 Words For Snow...... I have tried, but I can't get into these.... these are to me like Prince's Emancipation album, it's not "the real thing" anymore.

I struggle with these, I wanna like them, but it's difficult. I can't enjoy these 3 albums, the same way like I do with her "masterpieces" 1978-1989.

Prince 4Ever. heart
