Beck played Erotic City on his Sea Change tour in Brisbane, Australia! Beck is currently in Australia and last night at Festival Hall in Brisbane he finished the show with a full version of Erotic City!. Go check it out if he's playing in your town. awesome! I enjoy Beck and Erotic City is one of my favorite songs. For some reason I can't really imagine Beck singing it. Did it sound close to the original or did Beck change it up? | |

No, he stuck pretty close to the original. He even finished the song by doing some very Prince-esque dance moves followed by the splits!. What was weird though was that most people in the audience didn't know that it was a Prince song - I think if they found out, then they wouldn't have liked it so much! I was watching the movie PCU with my friends (at least I think it was PCU) and at one point George Clinton plays 'Erotic City'. Me saying that it was a Prince song really killed the mood.  oh well... | |
