Ha! I wondered that, too. Seems you just wait and they send you an email with some links within the hour. Only downer for me was that I'd selected all the albums, but they just sent me links for the first four.

I actually have to agree with him for a change. The quality sucks. I really am probably just going to be going on Pirate Bay to get them now

I'm a sound designer. I know ways to get the MP3 sounding better. it's actually pretty simple to convert it to a higher sound quality.

I do stuff like that all the time. It sounds better but it doesn't sound as good as profession remastering, which there is for 3 Feet High and Rising. They gave away the original rather than the remastered.

If I had the discs, why would I even care about downloading them? (I had 3 Feet High on cassette from when it first came out, and I had a Is Dead downloaded from somewhere, but I didn't have the rest).

For the record on SOUND all forms of digital are downgrades in your sound, even more than the downgrade that Album to CD was that was the lie that everyone was told when cds came out.

Cds last forever...NOT they scratch skip etc....

The sound is better than albums....NOT its just louder but its so compressed you are hearing about 50% of what is recorded, with ALL digital you get about 20%.

That is funny--but, I have them now, and I wouldn't have gone to the trouble on my own (even if it's relatively little trouble). And I'm feeling fairly positive about De la Soul right now. So, when they do release new product, there's a slightly better chance that I'll buy it.
