You can't even compare them. I DO like the RHCP version though and listened to it a lot when I was in high school. I didn't even know about Stevie's original version until later. Change it one more time.. | |

Non-crack smoker here that Loves the energy of the Chili's version. Musically their version doesnt deviate too much from the original, and the speed punk ending sells it for me. Chili Peppers all day. This is what you want...This is what you get. | |

Stevies all day for me. BUT i love the Chili Peppers version though. The bass line, and the punked out drums at the end kill it. Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener
