LOVE this song , and it still sounds good and not corny after all those decades.

I´m a big fan of Whodini and have most of their music except for the last two albums.

I still listen to them quite often.

Watch the "Unsung" episode. A must see, albeit a bit sad to watch.

How come you can play this video in Austria? I can´t play it over here. neutral

strange, the video plays without problems here, can't say why. maybe NSA is blocking Merkel county, but Austria is not important enough for that smile

me too I got Whodins first four albums but not the last two, dunno why really, I guess I simply never saw them in stores

lawd, this was such a great era for Hip Hop, the dawn of a new era mushy grandpa
the debut album (surely a little patchy compared to a solid classic like Ecsape) was amongst the first 10 Rap albums I bought, I had only some Kurtis Blow, Grandmaster Flash and alike, basically just what was available in stores around here. and Haunted House Of Rock was probably my most played song in 1984

Ahhh, Haunted House of Rock...good memories.

Their debut album was in fact the very first album I EVER bought. I was twelve and a huge fan of early HipHop, Prince and Midnight Star (and SOS Band) back then. Still am to this day. wink

Larry Smith was an amazing hip hop producer, and came up with the rock-rap fusion idea long before Rick Rubin.

Yeah, Whodini was rnb, funk, rock, and hip hop all rolled into one. I liked Rap Machine. That baseline is something even Prince would envious of.
