Like I said in a previous Bieber-related thread, Justin reminds me of Vanilla Ice in the early 1990's BEFORE the downfall.

Except Vanilla Ice comes off as a young man (at that time) and Justin as a whiny little bitch.

What does Timerblake have to do with this?!

Oh, sorry. Justin Bieber. When you said "Justin" and "whiny little bitch" I just assumed it was Timberlake.

He's 19, so I expect him to to do some stupid shit. A better question is why are these old ass dudes hanging out with him? There like 30, 40, 50 and 60 years old. They don't have anything else better to do? And where the ladies at? These pics are sad and pathetic on so many levels.

I don't think Bieber wants to be Black firstly: he wants to be cool. And since Black people are

purveying innovators of all things cool (good and bad), I think that explains his adopted manner-

By the way, that fella in the picture wearing a black leather jacket is the luckiest man on Earth:

It's a image assigned to blacks by the corporatocracy which certain blacks who wanna get paid have agreed to promote for fun and profit. lol

Beebs can't sing worth a damn so like all of the current crop of pop tarts he needs a gimmick, and like the rest of the world he has been conditioned to believe that blacks somehow invented thuggery.

A man's attitude is always the same at some point, we see black men (anchors and all) acting normal just like white men, and just like every other man, but what I meant by "black" in this thread is Tyga & 2 Chainz type of artists, these guys who act thugish as Gun said

You just said "a black man acting normal like a news anchor". I assume your referencing Bryant Gumble or Don Lemmon. The fact you think of them as normal is also concerning.

You have said Bieber is acting black which you then went on to equate with "Thug", that "is" racist

Look, I don't know who the hell is Don Lemmon or Bryan Gamble, if you see racism in my behavior, I'm sorry, and I apologize if I offended you. When I said black men acting normal, it's like, no "bro" no "yo", as normal as it gets (doesn't mean when you "yo" or "bro" people, you're not normal, in fact you're also normal that way, but that's a different attitude).. It's just the common thing black people have, you can't deny it, I can't, it's the thing going on BETWEEN THEM, and when a white boy goes in between it'd look & sound like he wants to be black.. I have started this thread me wondering if he wants to be black attitude-wise, he's sticking with big & old black people, you tell me that's normal? That's suspicious..

I'm not talking about this anymore, I'm so bad at expressing my thoughts and I don't wanna lose friends around here. Sorry again, mate.

Interesting how you apply black anchors acting "normal" as acting like white men, but acting like a thug is acting black. I don't know how you can't see anything wrong with this line of thinking. I forgot that how white people talk, think, act is the default and everyone else in the world has to follow suit or you're an uncivilized savage. ignorant post.

we see black men (anchors and all) acting normal just like white men, and just like every other man,

acting white was/never/will never be the default. I mentioned the example of "Black anchors" because they talk normal without using that kinda thing I mentioned in my previous post, acting like a thug IS a common thing between black people... Ain't that obvious? I have black friends and I spoke to 'em about this matter and they said white people shouldn't act black & shouldn't use the "n" word while black CAN between them... When Bieber acts thugish (DOESN'T MEAN HE DOESN'T ACT WHITE OR CIVILIZED), too thugish you'd think he pretends to be black, those are kind of people I myself despise and I'm sure a lot do..

Well, It seemed there is a "term" for these people, its called wigger:

I don't think you're racist, Shawy, but it definitely comes off like we're supposedly abnormal when obviously that's not true. shrug

Thugs exist in all colors but just in the way "thug" is used in the media, it's meant to demean black people. Look how they treated Trayvon, least the "right wing" side. And look at the treatment Richard Sherman got.

I'm not dissing you though. But it does come off like how Colin Powell was treated when he was running for President.

[Edited 2/11/14 14:58pm]

I see the point you're trying to make but where you're coming across bad is when you associate acting normal as acting white and acting thuggish as acting black. The media has done this because they have pushed this damn thug image to the max and if a white person has never had much exposure to black people on a personal level, they would think this is how all black people act because that's all they see on both TV and on the radio.

.

I'm 46 so I can remember very clearly the days before shit hop took over. All the black DJs on black radio talked clearly like the news anchors you mentioned. Hell, to be on the radio, you had to be understandable so they talked clear, they just had a little more hipness to them than the news anchors but it was two different areas though, one was news and one was music so naturally the ones dealing with music were going to have a little more hipness to them. Actually, a lot of them talked more smooth and sexy like lovers but nowadays, they sound like they're having a gang discussion in a prison yard. lol

.

You have to have black friends on a personal level to know what time it is because the media is sure not going to paint a true picture. And I'm not talking about just casual conversation with the black coworker every now and then or casual conversation with the black guy in the store occassionally. I'm talking about hanging out with and spending time at either your place or their place, going places together, and doing all the things that actual friends do rather than just casual acquaintances. Arguing with them when you disagree and finding out you're wrong about some things and them also finding out they're wrong about some things too during the arguements. All the things that friends of the same color would do. Fussing and fighting and making mistakes, because everyone makes mistakes, and making up afterwards and getting over it.

.

That thug shit is an image the media has pushed and unfortunately, a lot of younger black people, and white people as well, have bought into it. But if you look closely, you'll find a lot of black people who aren't into that shit and most of my black friends despise that image even more than I do because it affects them directly and they have to catch the hell from the negative stereotypes it gives. Most of my friends are around my age, over 40, so they've been around long before that bullshit took over, just like I have, but I'm finding a lot more younger black people that aren't into that shit either.

.

Just look at how a lot of white people accuse President Obama of being a thug. Now, that's actual racism right there. I mean, he wears a suit, talks proper, and if he weren't the president, those same people would think he "acts white" and "normal" just like the Don Lemons and Bryant Gumbles of the world. But let any of those guys get any political power and they would start calling them thugs also. The racists love these thug images because it gives them what they believe is a ligitimate arguement when putting down a black person who comes into some sort of political power. Most black people that I know can't stand these thug images. Sure there's a lot of black people that love these thug images but they are trash and trash comes in all colors. Just look at the redneck images and the white trash that love them also. The difference is, on the white side of the fence, the redneck image isn't the only white image that's pushed to the max by the media where the thug image is the main image that the media pushes on the black side of the fence.

Andy is a four letter word.

I think he sees those guys as cool and badass and being a young man and them being older, he emulates their behavior because they are male figures he has access to.

Its not a race thing; its a young male thing.

When I was a kid, I thought the Fonz was cool. Then I got older and learned the Fonz was a little Jewish guy pretending to be an Italian guy and suddenly the Fonz seemed a lot less cool.

Eventually, Bieber will see them in a different light as he grows to learn more about who he is as a man.
