Just a quick shout that Mr. Orbit has posted several re-done versions of his MDNA tracks on his Soundcloud page. These include Some Girls, Love Spent, I'm A Sinner, Falling Free, and Gang Bang.

Refreshing, extended cuts in most cases - the remix of I'm A Sinner is WAY more enjoyable than the album version. Thoughts? I also really liked hearing Falling Free with that dub/chill beat before it erupts into a dance beat.

if only she could have done these as the album versions - or had Orbit done these and just presented them to her - or if she could have used the same creative ear she had on the tour video screen interludes ("BEST FRIEND" and esp "Justify my love" from the MDNA tour cd are FIERCE!)

The other day I asked Joe Henry on Facebook about the Madonna/Joe Henry rock album. He said it's been discussed and its "up to the Queen". He also said he is ready whenever she is.

Pretty cool that he answered.

It is worth mentioning that there are unreleased recorded material in the Love Spent remix posted on Orbit's Soundcloud. Madonna references "take me like you took MY money, take me in your arms...", the original MDNA release repeats "took your money". Makes it a little more visceral, IMHO.
