St. Vincent's new self titled album will be out Feb. 25th!!

The lead single "Birth in Reverse" can be download on her website www.ilovestvincent.com

She also announced dates for a European tour. (Song in the video is also believed to be on the new album)

Annie Clark aka St. Vincent was also recently honored as an innovator of music at the Smithsonian's Ingenuity Awards

I can't say I was a fan of hers before but after hearing these 2 tracks for the forthcoming album, I may be one very soon. I love them. I hope the rest of the album will be as strong as these 2.

Feeling the new track! I'm excited about this album. I'm definitely getting more of a funky dance vibe from on this album so far. She described the album as dance party at a funeral. Or something like that...

February 25th can't come soon enough!

Interview with NPR. She also previews snippets of 3 new songs "Rattlesnake" "Huey Newton" and "I Prefer Your Love". Judging from the first 2 songs and these 3 snippets. She's definitely going in new direction (once again) with this album. It has a "alternative r&b" vibe to it in my opinion
