Just saw Bastille on SNL and I have a question-

do their songs have words or is it just a collection

of sounds because I couldn't understand a word.

I mean I caught a word here and there but for the

most part it didn't seem to be actual sentences or

phrases. I know they are an english band so

I can't blame it on the French.

I thought they were dreadful. I also couldn't understand a word they sang. Seems

like some pretentious hipster shit to me.

I didn't think they were horrible but then I didn't

listen to the music so much as strain to make sense

of it plus we ending up talking over most of the numbers.

Yeah, thought thought that was garbage - like then new cardboard cut-out hipster band. How did they even get booked - was someone's cousin calling in a favor?
