There's always been a prolific songwriter who chuirns out massive amounts of hit singles that people don't recognize because they don't sing or they keep their own singing career somewhat low key. Burt Bacharach is probably the biggest example, but there's been Gamble and Huff, Diane Warren, Randy Newman, and lately Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic. In Ryan Tedder's case, he was putting out top ten and number one singles before Timbaland gave him and his band their own vocal big break. So Max Martin is just another one of those faceless superstars you hear about but never see.

And BTW, Barry Gibb wrote a ton of hit songs all throughout the 80's, but it took nearly a decade to shake off the disco stigma before the Bee Gees had anothet hit single with "One."

That's Lana Del Rey singing in the Maleficent commercial. And it works. Jolie's idea for that was genius.

So far I loved P!nk(her Ass damn ), Gary Lewis Jr./Keith Urban, Not a John Legend fan, but he was good with no growling like an old man.
