Their ''alt rock'' album and singles were pretty damn good. This was some killer electronica.

I truly like this song, but there was a time when I was obsessed with it...

This is such a brilliant song, one of their best in my opinion. Very underrated. It's a clever and very creative track and poignant as well.

This was just a ripoff of Marvin Gay Midnight Lady sounds... hated it when it came out.

This song, So Cruel, and Stay(Fareaway! So Close!) is where i realized he is a good singer. And he has great falsetto when he uses it right.

His voice is just trying to emilate Sam Cooke. Much like Steve Perry did with Journey.

I only have this mix thanks to the "Pret-a-porter" OST, but I did enjoy finally hearing the original version. Gotta say that it's dated worse then their 80's stuff though. Not a bad thing at all, but just an observation. I probably enjoy the remix more, but then thats the version Iam use to hearing...

I have the deepest respect for black music (that's why I'm on this site), but that's something that can't be said of this new orger and of others acting like him regarding "white music".

By the way, "Lemon" is excellent, one of the defining moments of the 90s.

"Lemon", "The Wanderer" and "Babyface" are top-notch songs and darn good reasons to revisit Zooropa, as the band pursued a deep exploration into alternative rock.

Love it, the Zooropa album was the last time U2 were truly brilliant imo.

U2 was my first favorite band, back in the Achtung Baby days, and now this is one of the only 2 or 3 songs i can still listen to.

For me it comes alive around 3:40, and the music starts to sound almost funereal, and very beautiful.

I love this song.

I love 90-93 U2. Couldnt stand them prior.

It almost sounds more like a Brian Eno album, rather than a U2 one, imo.

always loved Lemon!

I never liked U2 until Actung Baby. And then when Zooropa came out I was

totally hooked. Lemon was one of my favorites. The Eno-esque background vocals

always sounded like Talking Heads to me. (maybe Remain In Light -ish)

This live version is cool (though not as tight as the studio version).

Bono adds some extra vocals in the choruses here also.
