The Shortwave Mystery and Tubeway Army

The Shortwave Mystery are an obscure synth pop band that i discovered a few years back.

Turn Time Away. From the album, Signals From Afar(Recoded in the mid 1980's but was released, or possibly Re-Released, in 2010)

I'm a pretty big Gary Numan Fan but IMO, after 3 or 4 of his solo releases and the Tubeway Army stuff, his 'sound' got somewhat repetitive. No doubt though. He was(is) a major influence on New Wave, Punk, Synthesizer and Electronic music.

IMO, Tubeway Army's first album is more Raw, Punk(ish) and a little less musically creative than REPLICAS. Its still pretty good though(IMO).

Steel And You(Tubeway Army-1978)

IMO, Are Friends Electric is the best song off of Replicas, but since that song is so well known, i decided to post Down instead. It's(DITP)pretty well known as well though.

Down In The Park(Replicas-1979)
