On Saturday, several news outlets reported that Madonna was reuniting with her ex-husband Sean Penn for the holidays. While we don't know for sure if this is true, we do know that Madonna reunited with Sean during a trip to Haiti a couple weeks back.

Fans are split on whether or not Madonna should be reuniting with an ex-husband that was allegedly very mean to her. However, we guarantee they won't be split on this news: Madonna has been seen with Patrick Leonard, the man she has written and produced several of her most beloved songs with.

They were seen once at LAX Airport and another at P.F. Chang's at the Sherman Oaks Galleria. However, there is no romantic interest here; it's all about Madonna's upcoming album, tentatively due for release at the end of 2014. "Somebody forwarded an article to Madonna about how much Pat missed working with her," our source says. Madonna was really touched by this and contacted Leonard to start working on some new music.

Madonna really wants to record another album like "I'm Breathless," which was a side-project type of album that was inspired by her role in the movie "Dick Tracy." Even though the album remains a favorite among a small selection of fans, most people consider the album Madonna's first big mistake, at least musically. However, the album really does show that Madonna has a raw and soothing voice.

"Madonna wants to remind people that she is quite a good vocalist," our source tells us. "The record company is pushing her to work with Daft Punk and Eric Prydz. They are two of the biggest names in the EDM scene right now. But Madonna wants to do something totally different."

Let's hope Madonna goes in a different direction. We liked her last two albums, but believe most of the songs on these albums could have easily been recorded by Britney Spears or Rihanna. Whatever she decides to record will definitely be a big part of her huge upcoming tour. We will have more on that soon.

Great news! She could do work with Daft or Eric that isn't hardcore dance, both are pretty versatile producers.

I hope she chills on the disco for the next album. Pretty random that I'm Breathless is the point of reference. Also, I'm Breathless may not have been a huge hit but it did spawn Vogue which was a game changer. Some of the tracks are hokey (Hanky Panky, He's The Man ) but I love the sound on the album. I thought it was hilarious/random as hell that she had Hanky Panky on the Reinvention tour. Easily her most random/silly single ever.

It would be cool if she went in a jazz/standards direction. I just want at least one new, incredible ballad (ala Take A Bow.... Masterpiece was corny).

Well, as the article says, she has just been seen lately with Patrick Leonard. Unless they are making out in public, I don't see what all the hoopla is about. And even if they were, so what.

As for the Sean Penn reconnection, it would be hyper-critcal/hypocritical to say the woman can't be friends with her ex. Good for her! Considering we see him in pics with Rocco is rather endearing. At least he has another male figure in his life who can mentor him and be friends with the young man. I think for the public to witness these things and have judgement suggests NONE of us do these kinds of things, yet I know lots of people who are friends with their ex's, some who even have sex with them, and lots of people who go out in public places with people with whom they are working... or simply because they enjoy each other's company.

When Madge starts dating goats, beats her kids, or is caught in public without her panties on....

that's when we should get gossipy about what she's doing.

The slow version of Love Spent is hot, as is just about ALL the GGW remixes (really one of those could have been the album version) plus I love what she did with "Best Friend" ... for the tour version.

"I Don't Give A" was an early fave but now i could do without it.

"I'm A Sinner" is "Beautiful Stranger's" retarded red head crackhead little sister but it was HOT on tour! And a decent song.

I, as a stan, do NOT understand the love for "Falling Free," it's Gone meets Mer Girl meets Drowned World meets Don't Tell Me but not as good as any of those. The Orbit remix he dropped was hot tho.

Personally,I loved MDNA.Not every song is excellent,but when it's good,it's VERY good...

I have ZERO problem with her or anyone going back to their ex's but if their ex was abusive as he was, thats when i have a problem...we already have Rhianna representing the worst choices a woman can make in this industry and its sad that she is looked up to...

Keep in mind that he and Madonna were only married for four years. He was married to Robin Wright until last year, since 1996, and has two kids with her who are in the 20's. I think that perhaps he and Madonna have gotten past the abuse in their relationship. Besides, do you really think she'd put up with him doing that to her now? I imagine she'd beat the crap out of him these days, but what do I know. This is just like the proverbial "black box theory."

Hard Candy was my jam when it released. Such a fun party album. Reminds me of her debut album.

MDNA was an improvement, and I like it a lot, but only about a third of the tracks are long-term keepers. Hard candy had, like, 2.

Definitely agree. The woman did acknowledge that Sean was the love of her life, so them remaining friends on good terms is no surprise but doesn't mean that they are getting back together. Even though I'm not friends with any of my exes (not for the lack of trying, it just didn't work for me), it is very possible for folks to remain platonic friends with their exes. I actually like that they are still close to be honest.

It would really be nice to see her work with Patrick Leonard again. He collaborated with her on some of her best work. He's a great pop songwriter and producer.
