The local soul oldies station sometimes play Whatever You Got. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. I am love. A totally overlooked and underrated gem. And of course Dancing machine. Awesome track. I never really paid any attention to the one, until I saw it in New York at the 30th anniversary show. Loved it. Also Life of the party and If I don't love you this way. Great album. | |
