I've heard her sing in spanish and she's not bad, but when she sings in english, it's like hearing fingernails on a chalkboard. I think she sounds bloody awful.

Her Spanish-language albums are so much better than her albums in English. Dónde Están los Ladrones? is my favorite album of 1998.

+ 1 The unplugged I play often, which features most of the songs on that CD. Great DVD, wish they'd do Bluray on it. I like her spanish stuff mostly.

Her spanish albums are much better than her english stuff. I dont know why but her unique voice doesn't sound good in english. She has some good english songs but overall the way she is presented in US, is like a sort of Beyonce copy-cat.

True pies descalzos and ladrones were her only good album. Sadly tbe hair dye she puts on her head alot has leaked and because of that has made her produce not only trite and horrid music. I like the Spanish studio album after those, Fijación Oral, Vol. 1. There are good songs on there.

Her last album as a whole I didn't like so much but the merengue tracks were top notch. I like SOME of the people she's working with on this album so I'll wait to hear everything before making judgment.

I just heard the track, its pretty catchy, I'm sure it'll get good radio play.

I must say I`m disappointed with 1st single, hoping for a better album.

Just had a listen to the album -dónde-están-los-ladrones - on itunes, sounds good, mght even buy it even though I cant understnd a word of it

But I like the sound of it.

The last album I have of hers is Oral Fixation and Fijación Oral. Couldn't afford to buy the next couple of hers and haven't even kept up with her. When I heard that she had a baby I was shocked because it was 8/9/10/12(?) months after the fact. When I get around to it I'll get She Wolf and Gypsy (or what ever the name of the next album was).
