The Jacksons-One More Chance

I completely forgot how cool this song is. Honestly i hadn't listened to the Victory album in YEARS disbelief

That whole Jackson clan wrote(or sung)some beautiful slow jams.

I apologise if this has recently been posted.

One More Chance. From the album Victory(1984)

Rest in Peace Bettie Boo. See u soon.

Do you guys like Janet's cover? It was the b-side to 1993's hit single, "If".

Anyway.. also a fan of this Jacksons track.

I used to love Janet's cover, not so much in recent years.

Man, I haven't heard THIS in a long time. Love it. I know MJ is all adored and what not -- but I do love to hear other Jackson boys singing. They are mostly good and always overshadowed. Personally, I always like Jermaine's singing over Michael's...and Randy is very nice here.

*except that "I love you" at the end is cheezy! razz

I made my parents soooo sick of this song...it was on constant rotation. Once I went to the Victory Tour that was even worse, because I was on a Jackson HIGH! This is such a GOOD song.

I absolutely love this song. I thought I was the only one lol Good to know a lot of people like it too. That Victory album is awful, but this song was by far and away the best song on it.

One of my fav The Jacksons song ever.

Same here.

I also feel the same way about the song 'Your Ways'. I also thought the song 'Push Me Away'(Destiny) was nice as well.

As far as the Victory Album.

Its like the Red headed stepchild of the Jacksons catalogue. The songs didn't really have that Jacksons sound. Victory did have some of that Jackson soul and funk but i think it tried 2 hard 2 incoporate that 80's dance pop sound.

I don't think its a bad album but its nowhere near as good as my favorite Jacksons album, Triumph.

Triumph was a monster of a album(IMO)

Pre-ORG, I only knew the singles, like "Torture", from this album. This turned out to be a later discovery that I really enjoy still.

Yep.

For me, listening 2 Your Ways is kinda like having sex. Like hitting that certain spot and(or)getting some good friction and rhythm going. They both(Sex, Your Ways) release them endorphins and make a person feel GOOD.

Anyway, Your Ways is the jam.

Rest in Peace Bettie Boo. See u soon.

One More Chance is definitely a highlight of Victory. But I like pretty much the whole album, and I don't enjoy it any less than Destiny or Triumph.

I never have been able to live that down. lol
