Was it just a bad heart? Was it his doctor mistakingy giving him too much medicine? Was Doctor Murray trying to kill him. Or was it even some high up moguls in The Music Industry conspiring to kill Michael? Some people even think it was pseudocide meaning not suicide but he faked his own death to save himself and to get out The E Industry.
