Mianstream country is ALL horrible. I mean even in hip-hop, rock(What's left of ''mainstrem'' rock), pop, dance etc There will be at least a couple good mainstream songs.

Country hasn't had a good mainstream song in years. YEARRRRRRRRRS.

Yeah, it got Nirvanaed. biggrin

But seriously, country music in the female side is VERY strong. I am highly anticipating the next Miranda Lambert album. And The Band Perry is the best band in any genre of music right now, IMHO.

And I thought country music on the male side was great until about 18 months ago. Then, we started getting an endless supply of "Truck/Girl/Booze/Red Dirt Road/My Old Bird Dog" songs.

The sad thing is, most of these new cats aren't real country boys. If Jason Aldean has EVER sat on a tractor, wrangled cattle, or baled hay, I will eat my hat. In fact, Jason Aldean is country music's version of Nirvana!

Let's just hope his influence is only temorary!
