Who remembers the quick hit funk band Quazar? I'll admit I initially only remembered

them for the single Funk N Roll(Dancing In the Funkshine)probably because

they came and went because of the death of their frontman, lead singer and producer

Glenn Goins who died of cancer before the album's release in 1978. He was a vocalist with P-Funk

before fronting Quazar. I used to like Funk N Roll but when I heard Funk With A Big Foot

for the first time years later I was like damn who is playing the dookey off that bass.

One of my favorite funk jams right now. And yes they were signed by some guy named

Clive Davis at Arista who also had Raydio on the roster too.
