every few years for over a decade jermaine comes out saying there is a jackson family tour in the works, and of course it never happens. the brothers been on tour since like last year,so why on earth would anybody offer them millions after the lackluster show they just recently put on. i dont know janet personally but im confident when i say aint no way she would agree to do this. and who da hell wanna see latoya and reebie period?

but wait though, the brothers' shows received great reviews all acrosss the land

the people who attended the shows left shellshocked as to how good of entertainers they really were, because they were brainwashed for years being told they were nothing but busters....

they don't know what hit them.......because they were conned to believe something that was never true....

and those who attended the shows as fans of J-5 from day one knew what was up already

Well hearing their reunion tour didn't do,maybe they could do it with New Edition. The Jacksons and Janet could probrably fill a large arena. I dunno what if they opened for Prince?

New Kids On The Black Are doing alot of tours. The J5 being the first boy band would fit with them. As I said (though called crazy) old acts aren't doing very well onstage.

Maybe they could do a Mowtown tour. That could bring an audiece. The Motown artis tour. The Temptations,Smokey Robinson,DIana Ross, and starring The Jacksons!! Berry Gordy would be announcer.

Working up a purple sweat.

I attended their latest tour and was so honored to have seen them perform in my lifetime, even without michael. This was before the fiasco with mj's kids that summer, but honestly this drama in the news surrounding the family takes away from the talent aspect. I'm just tired of the tug of war between the music and media and want to let it go for awhile, you know...

I'll believe it when I see it...Everything in the article seemed a bit far-fetched. The World is beyond ready for a Jackson Family reunion tour. It would be a wonderful Tribute to Michael and his children. I'll be surprised if it ever happens...My Heart goes out to the Jackson Family. Michael should have taken care of each and every one of his Siblings & his Father in his "will".

If this story is true and the Jacksons are really being offered those large sums of money,I'm sure they will agree to it.They could all use the money (except for Janet).

the family wasn't responsible for teh fiasco regarding those 3 kids

commercial media is teh source that cooked it up and created the firestorm, then urban media took it and ran with it in an attempt to remain relevant

even w/the tape showing Janet never raised her hand up at the girl, but millions still chose to believe the notion she did because its' been conditioned to show disdain for this family

and truth be told, the reason the fiasco was cooked up to begin with was to try and sabotage the fact the brothers were having a successful tour and receiving such great reviews.....

That family and most of the commenters on this thread got more nuts than Reese's and Planter's combined.

No one in their right mind would pay more than $30 to see Jermaine front them. Hell he even changed his name to try to detract attention only to look a bit more nuts than the rest of them.

The king is dead. Long live the king.

what does michael's kids have to do with the jacksons as performers?janet's dealings with her mom and family is her business, why should fans even care.i know mike's fans are deeply entrenched in his personal life and they want to help raise his kids and be involved in estate decisions, ect but ive never seen janet's fans give a shit about the other jacksons, and since mike fans hate all the other jacksons i doubt anybody would expect them to go see the brothers perform.

Also with all due respect. The last time Janet played shows in Europe, she played smaller venues than The Jacksons.

She had to cancel her show in my city and the place only held maybe 5,000 people.

I forgot to add that the last time that she toured, she sold out an arena that held over 20,000 people. This time she couldn't even sell out a place that held around 5,000 people. Even radio acted as if they didn't care.

if this tour happens,Janet should do the lead vocals on "Don't Stop Til You Get Enough" boxed I think she could handle that song well. When MJ died,I suggested that she record that tune herself,as a tribute to her brother.

I don't think she toured my city during the Velvet Rope era. I can't remember. It most probably was the 2001 tour. I just found it hard to believe that she couldn't sell out the small venues when she had always been so popular in this city. It may have had something to do with her actions and attitude after Michael's death. I know the DJ's on one station who loved her were VERY disappointed that she didn't want them to ask her any questions about Michael or even mention his name. She did an interview on radio soon after Michael was murdered. The DJ's said that they only wanted to giver her their condolences and all she wanted to talk about was her Greatest Hits album. They didn't seem to like that. Ironically, she talked to Robin Roberts a few days after and basically threw her brother under the bus with the "intervention" and other crap that a loved one would not usually discuss; especially so soon after that loved one was murdered.

she didn't conduct that interview until almost 5 months after 6/25/2009........

she did not throw her brother under the bus, everything of significance was already thrown under the bus over a quarter century ago

and it was the networks pursuing the interview with janet, not the other way around

and she didn't mention anything about her latest musical effort until the very end of the interview right before the credits started to roll.......

Peeps are always trying to discredit Janet from her brother & make up LIES! That she threw him under the bus. Its getting redundant & needs to stop! She loved her brother and would never purposely ruin his legacy..No wonder she is in hiding now....rolleyes

The easiest thing I find with any story on the Jacksons, I don't believe it, and I don't believe anything coming from a Jackson's mouth plain and simple.
