Polyrock were a New Wave(ish) sounding band from New York, that released at least 3 albums in the early 1980's. They had a quirky, aggressive, loud, and cool sound.

Too bad they broke up so early. If they could have hung in there, and also tightened up and expanded on their sound a bit, they could have been contenders.
