Elisa Fiorillo (1987)

Now I know a lot of people here aren't very familiar with Elisa Fiorillo before she worked with Prince. So today, I'm gonna spotlight her self-titled debut from 1987, this girl can sang! No wonder Prince wanted to work with her and as an added bonus, I'm putting in her 1st single (which wasn't featured on the album). Enjoy!

Hey, I knew her before she worked with Prince. I had her first cassette from back in the day and wore it out! She was/is a great singer, and it's to bad her career never really took off. Her voice is so unique, I love her teeny, tiny, little 'solo' in "Laydown" off of 20Ten.

Well, you and I are probably the only ones who have heard of her (pre-Prince).

I have both this album and her Prince album, but because I was introduced to her through Prince I never really gave the first album that much play.. but no doubt about her singing ability. She can tear it up vocally and plus she's such a beautiful person (in terms of her personality). Its hard not to like her.

Change it one more time..

You should give the first album a chance, it's really good.

She also worked with Jellybean Benitez. I believe the song was called, "Who Found Who". Yes, I am very familiar with her work, before the "Purple Midget"
