It won't be just a symphonica dvd if it includes that... there will definitley be new material people. there has been news reports about it for the last 3 years of mention, the websites now emphasising March 2014 and his old bandmate/producers who had no association with the symphonica tour (david austin) is saying on twitter "Exciting stuff coming... Keep your eyes peeled.. David" "Happy Christmas. Xx see the GM site. Lots coming xx" can't wait for this shit.

I really adore George Michael, but damn, this man is lazy. lol

The dvd was probably ready last summer, people already forgot about this concert.

And where is the disco album? I really like quality of quantity, but come on now, get to work George! lol

Thats true, of course! I didn't write that out of spite, Billy Joel is probably my favorite solo artist, right behind MJ, Prince and James Brown. It's just a shame to see talented artists like George Michael or Billy Joel basically sitting on their asses and wasting away their god-given talents.
I realize that we, as fans, are absolutely not entitled to anything, but its a crying shame none the less.

He takes his time with studio albums but it's always worth the wait.

I think I like that Spinning The Wheel demo way better than the released version. As for the Symphonica audio I'm indifferent about it. I'll be purchasing only for collection purposes but I'll wait around for the new stuff.

LONDON (AP) — After a spell of making headlines for mishaps rather than music, George Michael is coming back with a new album.

Michael announced Monday that his sixth solo album, "Symphonica," is due for release March 17.

It includes his own songs as well as covers including Nina Simone's "My Baby Just Cares for Me." It was produced by Michael and Phil Ramone, who died in March.

Michael recorded the album during a 2011-2012 tour that was interrupted when he contracted life-threatening pneumonia.

The former Wham! singer was hospitalized again last year after falling from a car on a highway near London.

He was imprisoned for eight weeks in 2010 for possessing marijuana and driving under the influence of drugs after he crashed his Range Rover into a photo shop.
