I don't know but according to her twitter, she is supposed to premiere a new song on Monday called "A Spoonful of bones" on Garage Magazine.

While interest in her as a public figure remains high, interest in her music appears to be at an all time low. She is one of the most totally unpredictable famous people ever so I guess I understand that.

Say what you will about her but those Hole albums really spoke to a lot of people.

Besides, her obvious drug and mental issues, the type of music she does is kind of outdated and passe now. There's not that much interest in that type of grunge rock anymore. How many rock albums in that style are huge sellers? There's always a touring market for indie and alternative rock, but not so much in record sales and radio airplay. There is a sort of 90's revival of Riot Grrl with the Kate Nash album and this movie about Kathleen Hanna (who Courtney famously punched in the face) called the Punk Singer, but even that is kind of under the radar. I love Hole's music but I don't see a huge market for that style of music now. To get interest, I think she would have to do a serious reinvention of her music. But I don't see her doing that. She's kind of dedicated to her typical rawk style. She did some demos with Linda Perry which had more of a pop/acoustic feel to her but she dumped those for the typical rock sound of Nobody's Daughter. The only way I see people being interested in a new record by her is for her to try something different from grunge 90's rock.

That's a good point. She came up right at the point when that thing she did was at its commercial peak. When I saw Hole in 1990/91 they were playing small clubs as an an opening act, and the best thing most bands on that scene ever hoped for was, we might someday headline and sell out these small clubs.

She appeared with All star cover band CAMP FREDDY on New Year's Eve, so, sounds like there's something to promote.
