Katy B's Sophomore Album Gets February Release Date

Katy B - Little Red

"Little Red" features collaborations with Diplo and Sampha.

Back in March, one of Pop Shop's favorite up-and-comers -- British dancefloor siren Katy B -- told Billboard her sophomore album was "95 percent done" and due for a summer 2013 release. The new album wound up taking a bit longer, but it's finally got an official title and U.S. release date: "Little Red" will drop on Feb. 3, 2014.

The new set features a few songs that should be familiar to those who have been following Katy Brien closely since her outstanding, Mercury Prize-nominated debut "On A Mission." Track three, a bass banger featuring Jessie Ware called "Aaliyah," appeared on last year's download-only "Danger" EP. Then there's "I Like You," "5 AM," and "Crying For No Reason," all high-quality singles that have been shared over the past year.

Once again, the 24-year-old singer will be teaming with the London-based grime/dubstep/house producer Geeneus, who worked much of 2011's "On a Mission." "There are quite a few [Geeneus] tracks on the album… He's definitely a massive part of it," Katy B told Billboard earlier this year. "He's kind of like my Timbaland to Missy Elliott."

Katy B has also been in the studio with Diplo and Fraser T Smith, the latter of whom is known for producing and co-writing Adele's "Set Fire to the Rain." The track listing also reveals a collaboration with smoky-voiced British crooner Sampha, known for working with artists like Drake and SBTRKT.

Although all the "Little Red" tracks she's shared thus far can be filed under "bangers," Katy hinted she'll be exploring more solemn soundscapes as well. "There's a few more songs [that] you can imagine me singing in my bedroom rather than in the middle of a dance floor," she told Billboard.

Here's the track list for "Little Red":

1. Next Thing
2. 5 AM
3. Aaliyah (ft. Jessie Ware)
4. Crying for No Reason
5. I Like You
6. All My Lovin'
7. Tumbling Down
8. Everything
9. Play (ft. Sampha)
10. Sapphire Blue
11. Emotions
12. Still
