Donna Summer (along with husband Bruce Sudano) wrote the song Starting Over Again which became a number one country hit for Dolly Parton in 1980. Donna never actually recorded the song herself, but did perform it in shows. Although she probably didn't write specifically for Dolly, I do recall an old interview Donna gave in which she mentioned moving to Nashville and writing songs for country artists.
