I've seen that song played at concerts throughout the continent and it gets people going like few other songs.

same can be said about Macarena, Achy Breaky Heart or Dancing on the Ceiling. Does this prove without a doubt those are great songs?

Has anyone tried unplugging the United States and plugging it back in?

Urgghhh. No you didn't bring up that horrid song. It's enough to make cats cry.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

falloff "Dancing On The Ceiling" is one of the WORST songs of the 80s.It's the most soul-less thing that Lionel has ever done. And the video??? He deserves a butt-kicking for that ridiculous video lol

I'm still not hearing any similarity to "Got To Give It Up." Other than the percussion, they're two completely different songs in my opinion. "Blurred Lines," like another happy anthem for its time, "Don't Worry, Be Happy," by Bobby McPherrin, will go down in history as one of those good, old-fashioned party jams that people enjoy hearing. It's odd that a dance didn't come along with it like with "Macarena," "The Electric Slide," "The Freak," etc... "Got To Give It Up" has its own "sound," at least from what MY ears are hearing, not to be disrespectful. smile

I think "All Night Long (All Night)" at least has a certain charm to it,and it was catchy. The same cannot be said for "Dancing On The Ceiling" lol

this article is insane lol "Blurred Lines" is one of the few great songs of 2013.There's a reason why it is the year's biggest selling single.

...and the FOX says.

Horrid shit, really. Friday. I can think of worse songs. The blatantly derivitive nature of the song is what so many hate about the song. Its not that its bad but its that so many know where it comes from.
