Always loved the Special AKA song. thumbs up! Don't know if this was hit Stateside, but it was popular here during the time of the anti-Apartheid movement. I can remember my older sister teaching me about the situation in South Africa through the lyrics:

Stevie Wonder had two songs against apartheid... Dark and Lovely from Characters, and It's Wrong from In Square Circle. But this song was specifically a tribute Nelson Mandela and an anti-apartheid song.

I had one of my young (19 yr. old) employee see the cover of our local newspaper with the picture of Mandela and he said quote: " who was he? a football player?" ...because the headline above Mandela's pic said "FIGHTER".

I responded by telling him to google his name and get back with me....
