I know Sony Music is trying very hard to push her as her generation's version of Mariah Carey, and she has a stunning voice. But if you have seen any of her shows on Nickelodeon (Victorious, Sam and Cat), her ditzy schtick can be quite grating. I think if she's allowed to break out of her whole child star image, she could be quite huge as a musical artist.

Hmmm not familiar with her past work, but from the looks of that acceptance speech I see what you mean.
