Leave It To "The Simpsons"... ...to come up with genius ideas after 25 years on the air. I know, the show has been hit-or-miss for over a decade now, but you still get a classic here and there, that puts all other animated satire to shame. The Simpsons is inconsistent quality wise these days but it certainly more 'arty' than in it's prime. Lots of obscure music pieces especially. That episode where Lisa coached Moe into becoming a poet was full of some pretty obscure stuff\references for those not into the Literary world.
Considering how influential and loved the show must be I can't understand why there isn't a queue a mile long of top young Hollywood talent that wants to run the show for a season or two... | |
