Justin Bieber Arrested for DUI in Miami Beach

Pop star Justin Bieber was arrested early Thursday in Miami Beach, Fla. on suspicion of DUI and drag racing, according to police. The Miami Beach Police Department confirmed the arrest on its official Twitter page.

Police say the 19-year-old singer was speeding north on Pine Tree Drive in Miami Beach with multiple SUVs trailing behind him. An official told NBC Miami that Bieber was going so fast that it took a significant amount of time to catch up with him.

Bieber was driving a yellow Lamborghini and was racing a red car of the same make, TMZ reports. After pulling him over for racing, police determined the pop star had been possibly driving under the influence. He was given a sobriety test, which he failed. The driver of the other Lamborghini, R&B singer Khalil Sharief, was also arrested, according to police. No one was injured.

Earlier in the night, Sharief posted a photo on Instagram showing Bieber in a Lamborghini with an unidentified woman driving.

Officials at the Miami-Dade Department of Corrections say Bieber has not yet been booked into jail.

Bieber told the police he smoke week, used prescription drugs and drinking. Man with street knows first you deny, deny, deny and refuse all tests, hire a good lawyer.

I knew this would happen... i mean who didn't see this coming. Start out innocent, branch off to more ''mature'' music which usually mean SEX SEX SEX. Then run ins with the law for drugs or other thing. Same shit, different year with another child star.

And if they're white at one time they will attempt to have ''street cred'' and will make sure to have black friends to be cool

This particular judge is a total politician with the backbone of a noodle. Thank goodness he's retired and only filling in at bond hearings now.

Drag racing, DUI and resisting...no way he should have gotten such a low bail but it's Miami so I'm not surprised.

All the charges are misdemeanors under florida law, thats why the bond is so low.

If she doesn't already know, Miami area jails are some of the roughest in the country. In general population her ass(no pun intended) would be toast.



Seriously though, that kid needs help. Messing up your own life is bad enough but when you do things as dumb as drinking and driving and drag racing, you risk the lives of others and need to be stopped.
