R. Kelly sets the seductive mood with the provocative covers for his album Black Panties.

The standard edition shows the masked singer playing a violin on a topless woman’s body. He ups the ante on the deluxe, lying in a pile of ladies, who are wearing nothing but black panties.

The follow-up to 2012′s Write Me Back has already spawned the singles “My Story” featuring 2 Chainz, “Genius,” and “Cookie.”

“I’m on a Benjamin Button-type of mission right now,” Kellz told Fuse. “I’m going back to the old school R. Kelly days where he did the 12 Play, the sexual songs mixed with the hip-hop songs.”

Black Panties arrives Dec. 10.

Unchained Melody had a somewhat similar progression to. This is a pretty common chord progression in the 50's and 60's... so i think it was more a tribute than stealing. If so, than a lot of artists have ''stolen''

Yeah, I've been saying for years that this is merely a pattern. Every since he struck it big with the adult contemporary audience with songs like, "Step In The Name of Love" he's been alternating releases between the more adult stuff and the horny teenager stuff. This is nothing new.

Oh please, R. Kelly fell on after the R. album. I say that because it was around that time that the music from R. Kelly's self-titled third album and R. started to sound the same as in same chord progression and all.

The deluxe version is now streaming on ItemVN. After the thematic departures from the norm (Love Letter and Write Me Back) , I'm unsure whether I want to hear more clichéd hypersexual material.
