R. Kelly: Black Panties [Album Cover Art + Track List]

November 17, 2013
Link

R. Kelly sets the seductive mood with the provocative covers for his album Black Panties.

The standard edition shows the masked singer playing a violin on a topless woman’s body. He ups the ante on the deluxe, lying in a pile of ladies, who are wearing nothing but black panties.

The follow-up to 2012′s Write Me Back has already spawned the singles “My Story” featuring 2 Chainz, “Genius,” and “Cookie.”

“I’m on a Benjamin Button-type of mission right now,” Kellz told Fuse. “I’m going back to the old school R. Kelly days where he did the 12 Play, the sexual songs mixed with the hip-hop songs.”

Black Panties arrives Dec. 10.

Track listing:

01. ''Legs Shake'' f. Ludacris
02. ''Cookies''
03. ''Throw Money On You''
04. ''Poetic Sex''
05. ''Marry The Pussy''
06. ''You Deserve Better''
07. ''All The Way'' f. Kelly Rowland
08. ''Right Back To My Niggas''
09. ''Spend That'' f. Young Jeezy
10. ''Crazy Sex''
11. ''Shut Up''

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO N NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO.

I will say it once again... Kells is almost as old as my grandpa. This is like if your grandpa was constantly trying to live out his ''young youth'' by fucking young bitches and talking about pussy.

Love Letter was a step in the right direction... but Kells being kells he fucks it up. This is the same man who made a gospel double album all about love and forgiveness. Then a year later made an album about sex in the kitchen, cheating on your girlfriend with her best friend cause she wasn't giving you enough play, rolling a woman like a blunt and smoking her pussy, and being a player.

I hope one day R. Kelly will grow up... but i doubt it lol and for those who always say ''age should never slow you down on craziness or pushing boundries''

Well do you want a near 50 year old man singing to you about marrying pussy? eek confused lol

it's all over....

the music industry is done

I've come to accept that

the se artists dont' care about the impact they have on the minds of youth

it's done

even if a person wanted to make exceptional music, the industry wouldn't let him or her do it

His singing is why i am a fan. I Love the passion in his voice... but who will listen, care, or buy an album of his. When he is singing about nonsense?

Not to mention he has been singing the same sex songs since 1992...

I'm convinced a lustful teenage boy came up with the song titles and not a

40-plus guy. His booty shtick is wearisome and approaching self-parody.

lol Unchained Melody had a somewhat similar progression to. This is a pretty common chord progression in the 50's and 60's... so i think it was more a tribute than stealing. If so, than a lot of artists have ''stolen'' wink

Damn lol. I agree with some of the other posters though. He fell off with that Trapped in the Closet shit. When A Woman Loves was nice, but can't say I dig any of his other more recent output. Interesting titles and cover though lol.

Good Lord!!! I've seen less smutty cover art on porn DVDs!!!omg

Anyway, I'm sad that he decided to go down this musical road again. I was never really a fan of his but his last two albums really caused me to look at him in a different light and I actually started to respect him as a vocalist. I started to take him so seriously that I actually went back and took a listen to some songs on his earlier albums!

I guess he got tired of playing grown-up and is reverting back to acting like a sex-crazed young boy. He'll probably rack up a bunch of awards for this one. disbelief

"Marry the Pussy" and "Show Ya Pussy", it's almost like a theme is emerging or something. He can't be accused of lacking focus while creating a new album.

Yeah, I've been saying for years that this is merely a pattern. Every since he struck it big with the adult contemporary audience with songs like, "Step In The Name of Love" he's been alternating releases between the more adult stuff and the horny teenager stuff. This is nothing new. nod

His last two albums (Love Letter and Write Me Back) were really good. Lots of material on there spanning a range of styles, but none of the generic, modern "r&b" pseudo-rap stuff. Unfortunately, Chris Brown's FAME beat Love Letter and El DeBarge's Second Chance at the Grammy awards a couple years back for best R&B album. That shows you the sad state of mainstream R&B, and why Kells will probably continue this trend.

He usually has at least a few tracks on albums like this I enjoy, so we'll see. In his defense, it's obvious he does this by choice, not abilities. He just likes making these R&B/rap hybrid albums, I guess. I wrote him off after the TP3/Double Up/Untitled streak, but he came back strong.

Love Letter was my shit, Write Me Back was alright. But, even r&b radio isn't playing his new singles. That's a sign that this album is shit... and is going to sell less than an Ashanti CD comin with a happy meal.

Oh please, rolleyes R. Kelly fell on after the R. album. I say that because it was around that time that the music from R. Kelly's self-titled third album and R. started to sound the same as in same chord progression and all. lol

The deluxe version is now streaming on ItemVN. After the thematic departures from the norm (Love Letter and Write Me Back) , I'm unsure whether I want to hear more clichéd hypersexual material.

sigh Well the cover could have been worse. He could have been swimming in a sperm pool with the broads. He's still a tacky & trifling testicle. Singing about the same old shit.
