Why Didn't Her Record Company Release This As A Single? It was just different enough to stand out and the performance is strong, not out of her vocal range like a lot of her later stuff. Plus I love the keyboard work:

It's telling that "Girl On Gire" was commissioned for "The Hunger Games" but was rejected for not being a good fit. So it being a soundtrack song that was transitioned to lead single status was a bit jarring. But people really love that track so... But this track is so much stronger, and the album was slept on.
