Hall & Oates released a covers album in 2004 and this was one of the songs on it You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. been listening to all their albums,especially the Backstabbers album.That's their first masterpiece.but anyways...."Use Ta Be My Girl" is a CLASSIC.Takes me right back to early 1978,a time when we had so much great music.I love that era.The So Full Of Love album was sorta like a return to form for the Ojays,after one album that didn't do very well.Nearly every song on it could have been a single. | |
