Nu-Wop

Nu-Wop is a new genre created by Brian Deady. It combines traditional Doo-Wop with elements of modern RnB, funk and hip hop.

The concept reminds me of early-90s act Rappin Is Fundamental, who made much of the idea that their sound was 'Doo-Hop' - a combination of Doo-Wop and Hip Hop.



Like flared trousers, I guess the idea comes around again every couple of decades! biggrin
