The 1975 - "Girls" - what does this vid remind you of?

I love this band and this song is one of my favorites. They just released the video, it kinda reminds me of something but I can't quite place it. Definitely 80's vibe to it.

Are you talking about the video? If so, it might be Girl Panic by Duran Duran (ie. Naomi Campbell as Simon Le Bon) or one of those Robert Palmer videos with the girl bands.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I think it's a bit of both, and maybe a bit of "She Drives Me Crazy" by Fine Young Cannibals also.

Cool track. Nice musicianship. Who produced this track? It doesn't have that heavily processed, compressed dynamic range sound typical of today's music.

Their whole album is great. Check out "Chocolate" and "Settle Down" as well.

They self-produced their own album along with Mike Crossey.
