Paul McCartney - New This album is thumpin'. If Michael Jesus were alive today he'd be pissed he didn't make some of these tunes.
1 - Appreciate 2 - Road 3 - Looking At Her
You can hear the whole thing on Youtube. I don't think I've smiled so much during an album in quite some time. Its beats, its harmonies, its guitars....

It is indeed an excellent album, long-awaited by this fan, as his last album of new pop-rock music was some years ago now.
My favourates are probably, in no particular order -
1. Appreciate 2. On My Way to Work 3. Queenie Eye 4. I Can Bet
On related matters, surprised nothing much was heard of the McCartney/ Nirvana surviving members track 'Cut Me Some Slack' from last year (not on this album), as it was one Paul's best and most convincing hard rock tracks of his recent solo career - kind of 'grandson of Helter Skelter' .

You would not believe the looks I have gotten from friends "Hey you should check out the new Paul McCartney album"
But yeah it is AMAZING. I am going to look into selling a kidney to see him live should he come to NYC and perform, some of these tunes are begging to be performed with an arena audience.
Appreciate is such a funky tune, I love how some songs have an edge but are not overtly corny nor sound as though he is trying too hard. You can hear the fun and the effort and his sincerity.
Its definitely a start to finish sort of record. Makes me happy.
