Wow! I watched a 2 hour Jimi documentary last night on PBS.

The similarities between he and Prince are uncanny!

His love for his Guitar, his passion when playing it (facial expressions included),

writing lyrics in the rain, (even his handwriting), his need for his own studio (Electric Lady),

which was a pioneer move on his part and so much more!

Also his flair for clothing styles (which were not just for shows),

Jimi is shown wearing pants with buttons on the bottom sides like Prince had in the eighties!

I mean this cat had Style! so ahead of his time!

I highly recommend this documentary for any Prince fan and Jimi fan of course.

It also has the full version of "The Star Spangled Banner" at Woodstock ... WOW!!!

It covers many years of his life with a large series of concert footage.

Very very informative with rarely seen footage and still shots of Jimi...

Don't miss it!

Can't be any similarities, if one is imitating the other
