Who Ever Would've Guessed Solange Would End Up Being The Best Thing To Come Out of R&B? I like the fact that she realized that getting into her sister's thing wasn't going to work for her, so she decided to do what I consider a left turn. It's kinda like an alternative R&B type thing. Very "indie" seeming. Like Frank Ocean. I mean just look at their shows and the audience they attract. Low key R&B?

Not saying she has to be one, but a lot of these singers (M & F) are just not frontmen/women
Everyone is not going to shine 'out front'.
Some people actually do stand out as an accompaning singer/dancer or back up singer/musician
singing back up or on an album with some rock / pop / r&b / jazz greats | |
