This is the song that made me fall in love with Arcade Fire...and it remains such a gorgeous, melancholy song. Takes me back to being an early teenager living in the suburbs with parents whose marriage was (quite loudly) disintegrating, even though the song didn't come out until many years later. I love songs that have such a strong emotional impact. No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.
Sex is not love. Love is not sex. Putting words in other people's mouths will only get you elected. Need more sleep than coke or methamphetamine. | |
