Instrumental is ok though. Still trying to get into Bruno but each song i hear just leaves me feeling ''meh'' this is probably the rockiest one i heard so far so i dig that.

And i'm no way a fan of Ri Ri or Miley. But how come when they do a song like SNM or soemthing like that people cry like bitches. But Bruno Mars can talk about "But in this jungle you can't run" and "If the neighbors call the cops, call the sheriff, call the SWAT we don't stop, we keep rocking while they knocking on our door"

And no one says a damn thing lol

I've seen several comments online asking this same question--it definitely brings up an interesting point about the different standards held for men and women in the entertainment business. Double standards in the biz have been going on for years, there are things female entertainers can do and get away with, but if a male does what a female did, he gets criticized and vice versa.

I assume that the reason why Bruno isnt getting much criticism over this video or song is because he's a dude. Most people think its not a big deal to for a guy to sing about his horny sex fantasy or see him go to a strip club, ogle a stripper, let her light his guitar on fire on stage and then go make out with her in a car lol! lol

On the flip side, if say, Beyonce sang Gorilla and filmed this video where she was the stripper working the pole while some dude played in a band during her routine---and then went and made out with him in the backseat of his car. Makes ya wonder what the response to that would be...

Lol even tho I like Gorilla I never actually took it seriously, it was more of comedy rock or comedy pop for me, and y'all know what they say bout Gorillas' dicks.

I mean seriously, who'd fuck like a gorilla and bang on his chest? lol My girl would take it as a joke and would think that I'm having childish behavior on bed.

I didn't picture it like that. I envisioned it more like raw, animalistic sex instead of gentle making love. redface

Yeah that's what I think he meant by it too. Speaking of Gorilla, check out this hilarious parody video! lol

its always a double standard that way has been ever since music videos started, shit SHEENA EASTON said this back in 1985 when she took heat for "Sugar Walls" and then for her outfits, her point was when has a MAN ever had to explain himself for sexual content? NeYo does a sexy video with this chick and its all about them screwing and the video shows it, not a word from anyone but "oh thats hot" but if a female artist did it she is a slut tramp whore or doing it for attention.

The reason for this is its still a mans world run by men and their ideals, which is why you dont hear shit about Bruno Mars except praise for this video BS. Which is funny cause if you really take women out of the "business" the thing sinks like the titanic. Women are the bigger sellers and carry the industry.

"We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

Which makes it really interesting why Robin Thicke got so much "hate" for his song and video. He's a man. The lyrics and video aren't worse than thousands of others. So I still haven't figured out why. Is he not butch enough? lol
