House Party reunion movie in the works?

This is an interview from a few months ago with Lisa Lisa, Bowlegged Lou, & Paul Anthony. At around 3:10, Paul says there's plans for a new movie with Kid & Play.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I'd go see that one. If I could fit into my acid-washed jeans.

I guess it's a real thing, here's a trailer, but I don't see Full Force in it, unless they're talking about a different movie from this.

Please tell me Kid N' Play are in it too? Otherwise that would make no sense. I need to check out the trailer.

That looks worse than a Tyler Perry movie lol

The first one was alight. But this is the 5th movie in the series lol i don't see it making a profit or even going to theatres.

I remmeber the last one was direct to video and had Marques Houston who i knew as Roger from Sister Sister lol

He was in Part 3, as a part of Immature. Never seen 4, since Kid & Play weren't in it. I think it came on Bounce TV though.

Comment from Amazon:

*Spoiler alert.......Kid N Play don't even appear until the ending credits.

I guess Kid N Play are trying to make a few extra bucks. From the somewhat ''return'' of them cause of LFMFAO. The lead singer was comapred to Kid a lot and gave people who never knew Kid a chance to hear his work.

They also were in their video for ''Sorry For Party Rockin'' so i guess that gave them a little exposure as well.

I just read about the plot of this one and Kid & Play only make a cameo appearance, which seems to me that Paul & Bowlegged Lou are not talking about this movie. They say that Reggie Hudlin is supposed to be involved, and mentions he was working with Quinten Tarantino at the moment (Django I guess), and also say Martin Lawrence is supposed to appear. This Tonight's The Night movie is directed by someone named Darrin Scott. The trailer has nothing to do with a reunion, and also it had to have been filmed before the interview.

Here's a picture taken recently, but I don't think it has anything to do with a movie.
