'83 was the in between year. 1982 and 1984 were both great music years. Most of the good stuff from 1983 either came out in 1982 and became big in 1982 or was released in 1983 but became big in 1984

Hey who was that girl anyway? She sure was purdy! smile

And why hasn't Limahl made a bigger comeback? It's been a few years now and I thought there was supposed to be new Kajagoogoo music or at least more solo stuff? He and the band are terribly underrated and too often get credit as a one-hit wonder in America. Even as a solo artist, not many people know he did more than just "Neverending Story."

I've only heard Kajagoogoo's debut. I didn't like the few songs I heard from the 2nd. Is Limahl's solo stuff any better?

I really liked their 2008 return album, "Gone To The Moon "-I thought these two tracks should've been hits--I'm sure the album didn't get any promotion, though...

...

KajagooGoo -"Table For One" (2008)

...

Kajagoogoo - "The Last Day" (2008)

We had a 40 year old in film school... not to uncommon. But his song was a prentious twat who thought he was way ''artsy' and we didn't understand his ''vision'' rolleyes

LOL and he turned out to be horseshit with his stuff, right?

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but as chessy as the name, song and look may be perceived, there is still a level of musicianship that is un-matced by the pop music of today. These cats were a real band they could actually play their instruments and you can feel that...even with the Simmons drums and synths. biggrin
