Nah, man. I'm giving the self-proclaimed "sex genius" , on the contrary, an F in originality and a D minus for execution.

Hasn't he made this song like 50 times before lyrically and musically? However, judging from the soundcloud comments it will probably do well for him.

It's not just you. Though this one is better than the last one, it's all garbage.

Absolute shit. Step it up Kells...

I wonder if kelly can do a song nowadays that is not about bithces, sex, love, one hoe, multiple hoes, cheating, down low relationships, and partying. And don't get me started on his cheesy anthems ala ''Sign Of A Victory'' ''I Believe'' ''Soldiers Heart''

This is pretty much all the subjects he has used in his albums since the 90's he needs to really step it the fuck up.

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

All music is shit music and no music is real- gunsnhalen

I don't know if anyone caight my post about it in July... but i saw R live june 30th. Kells still has a great, passionate, strong voice. And even when he was talking he was singing! he can sing his ass off.

But he tries to play up his ''i am a sophisticated ladies man'' one minute and ''i am a sex thug fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck every minute'' the next.

He may think that is ''orginal'' and him being a pied piper of styles rolleyes but it is just immature nonsense.

This fool could be someones grandparent... and imagine your grand pappy making songs about being a thug and genius at sex lol

It's been the same pattern for him every since he had the big Urban Adult Contemporary hits and the Contemporary R&B hits in the what, late 90's, 2000's. His formula has been trying to cater to two different audiences for years. "Black Panties" (I swear I laugh just typing that shit) is going for the younger crowd and more than likely (depending on the success of "BP") his next album will be for the grown folk who made "Step In The Name of Love" a hit. He's been doing this forever. My guess is, he won't stop it until one of those markets completely turn their back on him and rejects his music. His best bet is to focus on his own age group. You know, the ones that's been riding with him since the "Your Body's Calling" days.

Yes, it's typical R Kelly fare, either the profane or the profound with him, but...I like this.

Look how badly "Untitled" did. I predict the same for "Black Panties". When he actually did "grown R&B" stuff, he actually went gold or close to it.

I can believe it. DMX confirmed it. Dude convinced him to work on a track and took him off all because he wouldn't say Kelly's name. He called Kelly everything but a child of God when he spoke about the incident. falloff

Untitled was an absolute piece of nothing shit album. I didn't even keep it on my itunes lol Love Letter was great and hey it did really well! had a few top 20 hits on the r&b chart and went gold!

Write Me Back was basically Love Letter part 2 and a little to samey but it did decent as well.

His cd is going to sell lower than a Flo Rida album lol

That wod is thrown around too damn much. But we on the org know that lol

I think Kells is a hard worker... and i admire that he has written dozens of songs for himself and others. Not to mention he has produced a majority of his own music as well as others.

But beyond that... he is a decent writer sometimes, great vocalist, and good producer. I see nothing at all genius lol

Same how i love Kanye but i think he i far from genius as well.

When i think of musical genius i think of Stevie Wonder, Prince, Bob Dylan, Talking Heads, Marvin Gaye, Miles Davis, John Coltrane etc.

Yeah. And also he's on RCA, he's not gonna get the big push for an album like this. He might've during the Jive days. How else do you explain how Double Up got a certification? LOL Or even TP3 Reloaded, which only got platinum due to Trapped in the Closet? No one wants to hear a 46-year-old man talking about thugging. Hell, with all the shit he's been through, how does he think people would want him to continue to write about getting into someone's panties again?
